I help people feel confident and beautiful in their skin – inside-out
I believe that good health is easy to achieve. With a little bit of motivation, discipline and optimism, you can feel and look your best.
A little bit about me: I was born in India, the land of natural remedies. Naturopathic medicine has been ingrained in me since the very beginning. Being an avid lover of science, I completed my undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at McMaster University and thereafter my Masters in Microbiology from the Colorado State University. My ultimate goal of helping people lead their best life led me to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where I completed my Doctor of Naturopathic Degree to become a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. As a naturopathic doctor I work on preventative medicine and treat the root cause of your health concerns, so you can stay healthy.
FUN FACT: I can speak three languages (English, Hindi, Gujarati) and love exploring the outdoors. In my free time, you can find me with a book in my hand, hiking a trail or trying food from different cultures.
Enough about me, let’s talk about YOU! I want to help you achieve your health goals. I do this by doing three things – providing education around healthy lifestyle choices, using naturopathic modalities to heal your health concerns and empowering you to live your best life yet. I collaborate with you on your health, so you can live your authentic life without letting your health concerns get in the way.

Naturopathic medicine aims to treat as well as prevent acute and chronic conditions. Through using naturopathic therapies such as lifestyle counselling, nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture etc., naturopathic doctors target the root cause of the disease which means helping you stay healthy longer. The goal of naturopathic medicine is to provide individualized healthcare by educating, healing and empowering patients.
Food is the best medicine and is part of the foundation of health. Individualized modifications to current diets are recommended to address deficiencies, promote health, prevent and treat diseases. The benefits of improved nutrition are far reaching and can greatly improve quality of life.
Physical medicine involves the use of multiple naturopathic modalities to effectively treat conditions involving the muscles tendons and ligaments. Therapies include acupuncture, cupping, soft tissue work, exercise, hydrotherapy, heat and cold contrast to ensure optimal wellness.
NDs evaluate the environmental, mental, emotional and physical aspects of your health. By doing so, your ND can help you to make choices that will enhance your well-being and reduce stress levels.
TCM and Acupuncture
Asian medicine & acupuncture is based on a 5000 yr old practice of balancing qi (energy) in the meridian pathways of the body. The goal of each treatment is to create balance and harmony in the mind and body. Acupuncture provides a method of treatment which can unify and harmonize the imbalances present in disease conditions, which if untreated, can result in illness.
Botanical medicine is plant based medicine that involves the use of herbal teas, extracts, capsules and other preparations that assist in a state of illness or optimize organ function. Often times botanical medicines are compatible with the body’s own chemistry; hence, they can be quite effective with minimal side effects.
Homeopathy is a form of medicine that entails the use of small doses of plant, animal or mineral derived substances. These minute doses are used to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself. Homeopathy is a tool that affects healing on a physical and emotional level. A homeopathic remedy is prescribed based on the unique traits of the patient.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
YOUR FIRST VISIT
The first visit is designed to give you enough time to tell me about your health concerns and health goals. Unlike the conventional system, I urge you to discuss ALL your concerns, so I may better be able to assist your needs. Due to this, the first visit is an hour long. During this time, I will be taking a detailed intake of your health concern, health history and contributing life factors.
I will also perform some physical exams that are relevant to your health concern or health goal. Depending on your condition, I will order lab tests to better assist you. If you have any lab results from your medical doctor or previous naturopathic doctor, please bring them with you to your appointment.
The information gathered in this appointment will allow me to create and provide a comprehensive individualized treatment plan for you.
At this time, we will also be booking in your follow-up visits to track the progress of your health goals and modify your treatment plan to best suit your needs.
Let’s work together to get to your healthiest self, so you can live an authentic life without letting your health concerns get in the way.
